Trained in statistics, quantitative and qualitative research, pedagogy, and psychometrics at Oxford University, University of Hong Kong, Columbia University, and Stuyvesant High School. Led the first Chinese educational IP licensed by Mattel. Engineered Y2K systems for the Bank of New York and Bank of Japan.

Builds the working prototypes that validate assumptions and de-risk development before a raise is even considered.

Created the opt-in email marketing industry. Holds the patent for Double Opt-in (USĀ 6167435). Testified before the FTC to help pass the CAN-SPAM Act, establishing consent-based marketing frameworks now federal law worldwide. Took his company public without venture capital.
